Our client is a growing, technology-led organisation with a global footprint, continuing to scale its operations and invest in its finance function. With teams across multiple regions, the business is focused on improving systems, processes, and capability within its shared services environment.
This role has been created to bring structure, leadership, and delivery capability into the Accounting Operations function. Initially, the focus will be on leading a range of transformation projects across billing, collections, and finance systems, while supporting the current accounts team.
Working closely with finance, operations, and internal technology teams, you’ll act as the key driver of change, ensuring projects are delivered effectively and embedded into day-to-day operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and deliver key finance transformation initiatives across billing, collections, and transaction processing
- Project manage the implementation of a complex billing and claims platform, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Support the rollout of a global expense management system across multiple regions
- Identify and implement process improvements across accounts payable, receivable, and billing workflows
- Establish structure, controls, and consistency across accounting operations processes
- Provide oversight of transactional finance activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Partner with internal technology teams to support system enhancements and integrations
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication
- Support change management, including testing, training, and post-implementation adoption
- Contribute to building a scalable shared services function, including offshore team integration
- Strong experience across accounting operations, including AP, AR, billing, and collections
- Proven experience delivering system implementations or finance transformation projects end-to-end
- Exposure to complex billing or claims environments will be highly regarded
- Strong project management capability, with the ability to drive outcomes across cross-functional teams
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance operational delivery and strategic improvement
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, including working with vendors and internal technology teams
- Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable stepping into a function that requires structure and uplift
