ABOUT OUR CLIENT & THE ROLE
Our client is a leading international retail business delivering innovative façade, cladding, and glazing solutions for large-scale commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
They are now seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeping Administrator to support the finance team across day-to-day bookkeeping and finance administration tasks. Reporting to the General Manager, this role offers variety and responsibility, managing core accounting functions while also supporting broader administrative and HR-related activities. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone looking to contribute across both financial operations and office support in a growing, international business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee payroll function including reconciliations, reporting, and compliance
- Review and maintain general ledger reconciliations and accurate financial records
- Monitor and report on cash flow; manage weekly payments and cash tracking
- Maintain P&L and balance sheets, and assist with year-end financial processes
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including document management
- Liaise with external accountants, vendors, and financial institutions
- Support ongoing improvements to finance systems and workflows
- Collaborate across departments to ensure positive financial outcomes across all business units
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and finance administration
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Greentree, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organisational ability
- Experience handling confidential financial data with discretion
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team
