As the organisation continues to expand its market presence, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join the Melbourne team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. This role will see you managing the full sales cycle – from prospecting through to contract execution – while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with client needs.

You will thrive on outbound activity, build strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders, and position the organisation as a trusted partner in digital transformation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and industry events
  • Manage the full sales process including needs analysis, solution design, proposals, and presentations
  • Build strategic partnerships with consultants, contractors, and healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM tools
  • Stay across industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, ideally in digital health, ICT, AV, or healthcare
  • Strong consultative selling skills with experience in complex solutions and tender processes
  • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and proposal development skills
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to exceed sales targets
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
