As the business continues to expand its offerings and grow its impact, they are now seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their high-performing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a strategic and hands-on business development role focused on accelerating growth and deepening relationships across key sectors, including government, financial services, legal, and utilities. You’ll be the face of the business in the market, identifying opportunities, engaging new and existing clients, shaping tailored solutions, and closing complex deals. Working closely with internal teams across product, marketing, and customer success, you’ll drive innovation and deliver long-term customer value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to proposal and deal closure, across both new and existing clients.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to unlock growth in key verticals such as banking, insurance, utilities, and government.
  • Translate client needs into solutions using a deep understanding of the business’s product suite and technical capabilities.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and manage complex, multi-party engagements.
  • Monitor industry trends and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and influence product direction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the seamless delivery of customer solutions and maintain alignment with organisational goals.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or strategic account management in a B2B, data, or SaaS environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating and closing high-value deals.
  • Ability to navigate legal, compliance, and data governance frameworks confidently.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, particularly within complex or regulated environments.
  • Deep understanding of at least one target sector: financial services, utilities, government, or legal/conveyancing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions and technical solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and solutions-focused with a passion for creating impact through innovation and collaboration.
