ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer will provide high-level executive leadership, setting and driving the organisation’s strategy and operations. This is a unique opportunity to lead a values-based organisation with strong foundations, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and excellence in client service delivery.
The CEO will be responsible for building strong stakeholder relationships, driving innovation, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring that the organisation’s strategic direction is delivered effectively and sustainably.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic and operational leadership aligned with the organisation’s mission, vision, and values.
- Partner with the Board to set strategic priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Lead organisational change and foster a high-performance, values-driven culture.
- Build and maintain relationships with government, regulators, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory, and safeguarding frameworks.
- Oversee financial, operational, and risk management strategies.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across all areas of the organisation.
- Strengthen client service delivery through effective systems, policies, and workforce capability.
- Proven executive leadership experience, ideally aged care or not-for-profit sectors.
- Healthcare experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Ability to set strategic direction and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated capability in financial and operational management.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
- Strong leadership with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Health, or Business Management (postgraduate desirable).
- Exceptional communication and change management skills.
