ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Growth Officer will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation's enterprise-wide growth strategy. Leading the sales, marketing, partnerships, client acquisition and growth functions, you will drive revenue growth, improve profitability, scale new service offerings and support acquisition integration activities.

This is a highly visible executive leadership role that requires a balance of commercial acumen, strategic thinking and exceptional stakeholder engagement capability. You will be responsible for aligning growth initiatives with operational delivery while building the capability, structure and systems required to support the organisation's ambitious growth agenda.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute the organisation's growth strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Lead the sales, marketing, client acquisition and strategic partnerships functions nationally
  • Identify and activate new growth opportunities, markets, products and revenue streams
  • Drive customer acquisition, conversion and retention performance
  • Oversee brand, marketing, digital and customer engagement strategies
  • Strengthen referral networks and strategic partnerships to support long-term growth
  • Support acquisition activity and integration initiatives across the business
  • Build and lead a high-performing growth function, developing capability and future leadership
  • Provide commercial insights, forecasting and reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and Board
  • Foster strong alignment between growth, operations and customer experience teams
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Proven executive leadership experience within a complex service-based organisation
  • A strong track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth and commercial outcomes
  • Experience leading sales, marketing, growth, customer or commercial functions at scale
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning
  • Experience developing and executing enterprise-wide growth strategies
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building capability
  • Experience leading high-performing and geographically dispersed teams
  • Strong understanding of customer acquisition, brand, digital and growth channels
  • Exposure to acquisition, integration or transformation environments will be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, marketing or a related discipline are preferred

Equally comfortable driving commercial outcomes and leading people, you will have the ability to influence at all levels, navigate complexity and bring others on the journey through periods of growth and change.
