Due to an upcoming maternity leave period, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Communications Manager to join the business on a 14-month contract.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of People & Corporate, the Communications Manager will lead the organisation’s communications and marketing function, driving brand awareness, media engagement and high-quality investor-focused content across multiple channels.
You will oversee communications initiatives spanning digital content, media relations, stakeholder engagement, investor presentations, podcasts, video and events, while also managing one direct report within the communications team.
This role offers significant variety, autonomy and exposure to senior leadership within a highly respected business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and execute the communications and marketing strategy across Australia and international markets
- Manage media relations, PR activity and relationships with financial journalists and trade media
- Develop engaging written, video and podcast content across multiple platforms
- Oversee LinkedIn, YouTube, website and broader digital communications activity
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders, including investment, sales and leadership teams
- Coordinate investor presentations, reporting collateral and event communications
- Manage external agency relationships including PR, branding and web development partners
- Mentor and support the Communications Designer while driving best-practice communications outcomes
- Previous experience in a Communications Manager or similar role within financial services or a corporate environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience managing media relations and corporate communications initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
- Experience across digital content, social media and communications platforms
- Exposure to investor communications or financial markets highly regarded
- Proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and digital communication tools preferred.
