ABOUT THE ROLE
In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee and manage the company’s Integrated Management System (CMS), which encompasses ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety).
Acting as the subject matter expert, you’ll provide leadership in audit, compliance, risk management and HSEQ initiatives, while supporting stakeholders with education, reporting, and continuous improvement strategies.
You’ll play a key part in shaping the ESG narrative across the business -maintaining certifications, driving innovation in safety and sustainability, and engaging with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and performance at the highest level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems
- Monitor and report on compliance performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventative actions
- Develop and manage internal and external audit schedules and ensure timely closure of CARs
- Maintain and communicate updated HSEQ policies and legal registers across the business
- Support incident investigations and liaise with regulatory authorities when required
- Oversee document and record control, and ensure contractor compliance via relevant portals
- Provide leadership and training to foster a proactive compliance and safety culture
- Maintain ESG-related objectives, targets, and reporting in alignment with business goals
- Possess a tertiary qualification in a related discipline (e.g. HSEQ, Compliance, Risk, Environmental Science)
- Proven experience managing ISO-certified systems and leading audit and compliance processes
- Strong knowledge of WHS, environmental and quality legislation and regulatory obligations
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- High-level analytical skills, report writing, and attention to detail
- Ability to lead change, influence outcomes, and manage competing priorities
- Formal auditing qualifications and experience with contractor portals is desirable
- Familiarity with tools such as iAuditor and intranet platforms is advantageous
