As a result of continues growth, they are now seeking a Finance Manager who can bring structure, strategy, and insights to support their evolution and continued success.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for the leading the businesses Finance function and will provide general administration and IT assistance. This hands-on leadership position requires a well-rounded financial professional who can confidently manage core financial reporting and accounting processes while also supporting cross-functional teams, especially sales, with data-driven insights.
You’ll be a key player in defining, executing and achieving the growth plans, whilst supporting a very strategic and people-oriented Managing Director and leadership team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the sales team with financial data, analysis, and commercial input
- Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly management reports
- Maintain a rolling cashflow forecast and lead the annual budgeting process
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including ATO obligations
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
- Conduct weekly bank reconciliations and ensure financial records are accurate
- Liaise with external accountants on tax strategy, planning and reporting
- Supervise administration and manage IT service providers
- Partner with the Quality and Systems Manager to monitor IT system capability, security, and redundancy
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports and track team performance
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, with relevant tertiary qualifications
- CA/CPA qualification
- Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
