This role offers the opportunity to step into a high impact finance business partnering position focused on the oversight, improvement and governance of revenue, billing and government funding across a complex, high volume environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Finance Business Partnering is responsible for managing the end to end revenue and funding engine across family billing and government programs such as CCS, ACCS, ISS and Victorian based funding streams including Free Kinder, ESK and SRF. The role partners closely with centre leaders and support office teams to ensure funding claims are accurate, compliant and supported by strong data integrity and audit ready processes.

This is a maternity leave backfill with strong potential to extend or become permanent due to ongoing organisational growth. You will lead a small high performing team, drive reconciliations and variance analysis, uplift systems, reduce manual processes and act as the business owner for billing and funding platforms. It suits someone who enjoys blending finance, operations, systems and compliance in a structured yet fast paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage revenue, billing and funding operations across the national centre network
  • Ensure accurate, compliant and timely claims across all government funding streams
  • Lead reconciliations, variance investigations and revenue reporting
  • Maintain strong data integrity across enrolment, attendance and funding records
  • Build audit ready processes and implement proactive funding risk controls
  • Drive automation, system enhancements and process improvement
  • Act as the business owner for billing and funding systems including CCS platforms
  • Lead, support and develop a high performing team with strong stakeholder engagement
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in high volume, rules based revenue or funding environments
  • Strong knowledge of CCS, ACCS, ISS or similar subsidy or grant based programs
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement or systems uplift
  • Ability to lead teams and influence operational stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with strong reconciliation discipline
  • Systems minded with an interest in automation and continuous improvement
DESIRABLE BACKGROUND
  • Early childhood education and care
  • NDIS, aged care, education, health, insurance, utilities or subscription based services
  • Experience with Xap or similar CCS billing platforms
