ABOUT OUR CLIENT & THE ROLE
Our client is a rapidly growing business operating in construction and facilities management, covering property development, service maintenance, landscaping, and large-scale construction projects. With multiple properties at different stages of planning and a strong pipeline of upcoming developments, the business is in an exciting early growth phase.
Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the General Manager, you will take full ownership of the finance function, implementing systems, processes, and governance to support business expansion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and oversee financial processes, reporting, and governance
- Implement and refine financial systems to support business growth
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Oversee accounts payable, scaling resources as needed over time
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
- Provide insights into project financials, particularly within property and construction
- Work closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making
- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent experience
- Strong background in finance, ideally within property, construction, or facilities management
- Experience working in a fast-growing or start-up environment is beneficial
- Hands-on approach, comfortable rolling up sleeves and taking ownership
- Proficiency in financial systems, with experience in Microsoft NAV, Estate Master, or Procore being advantageous
