As the organisation continues to scale, there is a need for a capable and commercially minded Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day finance operations and help shape the future of the finance function.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this full-time permanent position offers a genuine opportunity to step into a key leadership role with broad influence. You will oversee all aspects of financial operations including reporting, compliance, team performance, and systems improvement. The first phase will focus on stabilizing and refining existing processes, before transitioning into a period of innovation and strategic project work.
This is a role suited to someone ambitious, structured, and people-oriented, with strong experience in large corporate environments. You’ll act as the key link between the executive team and finance, and the face of finance to centre leaders across the network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the finance team, driving culture, performance, and accountability
- Oversee end-of-month close, cashflow, accounts payable, and statutory compliance
- Prepare and review reconciliations including payroll provisions, assets, and grant acquittals
- Ensure alignment and integration of data between ERP and operational platforms
- Own the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting and EOFY processes
- Partner with the Head of Finance on ERP optimization and innovation projects
- Lead process improvements and efficiency initiatives across the finance function
- Act as the finance point of contact for centre managers and business stakeholders
- Support external compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements
- CA/CPA qualified with at least 3 years’ experience in a senior finance role
- Strong leadership and team management experience in a medium to large corporate environment
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems - NetSuite essential, or involvement in an ERP rollout
- Advanced reconciliation and reporting capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with both senior leadership and frontline teams
- A proactive, process-focused mindset with the ability to drive improvement and change
