ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands on and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a high performing leadership team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the finance function, delivering accurate and timely reporting while supporting strategic decision making across the business.

The role will suit someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, with the ability to manage both financial operations and provide commercial insight. You will be a trusted partner to the leadership team, ensuring strong governance while driving continuous improvement in processes and systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead day to day finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month end close
• Deliver accurate management and statutory reporting to the GM and board
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the business
• Support commercial decision making through financial modelling and analysis
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements
• Partner with operations, sales, and supply chain to drive efficiency and margin improvement
• Oversee finance systems, controls, and process improvements to support growth
• Lead and develop a small team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• CA or CPA qualified with strong technical accounting skills
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant role
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, or product based industries preferred
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills
• Hands on operator with a continuous improvement mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner across non finance functions
• Leadership experience with a collaborative and practical approach
