ABOUT THE ROLE
To support the next phase of their journey, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to lead the organisation’s financial operations. Reporting to the Chief Corporate & Strategy Officer, this role will oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and audit, while delivering strategic financial insights to drive informed decision-making and sustainable business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee financial management, including general ledger maintenance, monthly/annual reporting, cash flow forecasting, and reconciliations.
  • Lead the development and management of annual budgets, supporting senior management in financial planning.
  • Manage payroll processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and timely execution.
  • Ensure compliance through internal audits and financial reporting, partnering with external auditors as necessary.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and business case development to support organizational growth and investment opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor a small finance team, driving performance and development.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance business outcomes, improve efficiencies, and manage key projects.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Degree qualified and CPA/CA certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in financial management, reporting, budgeting, and strategic analysis.
  • Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial risk, compliance, and statutory obligations.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to lead a finance team and promote staff development.
