Our client is a leading service business undergoing significant transformation due to a tangible pathway to triple the size of the business over the next three years. With their plans for continued expansion, they're looking for a motivated and skilled Financial Accountant to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the organization’s success and grow alongside them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly general ledger reconciliations including payroll, government grants, and intercompany transactions.
- Management reporting, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including reconciliation of balances and invoicing.
- Overseeing bank account reconciliations for multiple entities.
- Preparation and lodgement of IAS, BAS, and support with tax and financial reporting obligations.
- Maintaining fixed asset registers and collaborating with the remote transaction processing team.
- Supporting continuous process improvement and providing accounting expertise across the business.
- CA or CPA qualified with at least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop and implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong team management and collaboration skills.
