ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a commercially minded and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to take ownership of core financial functions. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll manage reporting, budgeting, analysis, and financial operations, while partnering with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports including month-end accounts, balance sheet, income statements, and cashflow
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely, accurate processing
  • Conduct financial and business analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Liaise with external advisors including banks, auditors, tax consultants, and insurers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to drive insights and improvements
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and special projects as required
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ years’ experience in a financial accounting or analyst role
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, or related field
  • CA or CPA qualified or working towards
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting principles and accounting standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and within collaborative teams
  • Experience in professional services or a high-growth business environment (preferred)
