ABOUT THE ROLE
They are now seeking a talented Financial Controller to lead their finance function and play a critical role in the organisation’s ongoing success. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership opportunity, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing core finance operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general ledger, statutory reporting, and compliance
- Leading financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and strategic planning
- Partnering with the executive team to provide commercial insights and support data-driven decision-making
- Delivering clear, timely financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, audit, and tax requirements
- Driving process improvement, systems optimisation, and automation initiatives
- Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing finance team
- Proven experience leading a finance function in a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation
- CA or CPA qualification with a strong understanding of accounting standards and compliance
- Experience in tech-enabled, commercial, or B2B environments
- Ability to provide strategic advice, challenge thinking, and influence senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP Business One a bonus), and confidence using tools like Power BI and Excel
- A collaborative leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement and team development
