They are seeking a Financial Reporting and Treasury Manager to join their head office finance team. This is a senior role reporting into the Group Financial Controller, responsible for leading group reporting, treasury, compliance, and technical accounting across a complex, multi-entity environment. The position also plays a key role in supporting senior leadership with strategic initiatives, financial governance, and business improvement projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee monthly, half-year and annual consolidated financial reporting, including statutory requirements
- Manage external audit processes and act as the primary liaison with auditors
- Support board, audit and risk committee, and lender reporting, including preparation of high-quality financial packs
- Maintain and enhance financial policies, internal controls, and accounting compliance frameworks
- Lead technical accounting matters, including acquisitions and lease accounting
- Support group budgeting and forecasting processes
- Oversee treasury operations including cash flow management, banking relationships, and covenant compliance
- Manage tax compliance processes including income tax, BAS and FBT in collaboration with external advisors
- Support ESG reporting with a focus on data integrity and audit readiness
- Drive finance systems improvements and enhance data quality across the function
- Contribute to business improvement initiatives and strategic finance projects
- Mentor and develop team members while supporting a collaborative and high-performing finance function
- CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Proven experience in financial reporting, corporate accounting or finance leadership roles
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including exposure to complex group structures
- Experience managing audits, treasury functions, and tax compliance
- Exposure to ASX reporting and corporate governance is highly regarded
- Strong systems capability, with experience in ERP systems and reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel
- Ability to prepare board-level reporting and communicate financial insights clearly
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at a senior level
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and complex environment
