ABOUT OUR CLIENT & THE ROLE
Our client is a well-established ASX listed organisation operating across Australia and internationally. With a strong reputation built over decades, they are focused on innovation and continuous improvement across their operations.

They are seeking a Financial Reporting and Treasury Manager to join their head office finance team. This is a senior role reporting into the Group Financial Controller, responsible for leading group reporting, treasury, compliance, and technical accounting across a complex, multi-entity environment. The position also plays a key role in supporting senior leadership with strategic initiatives, financial governance, and business improvement projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee monthly, half-year and annual consolidated financial reporting, including statutory requirements
  • Manage external audit processes and act as the primary liaison with auditors
  • Support board, audit and risk committee, and lender reporting, including preparation of high-quality financial packs
  • Maintain and enhance financial policies, internal controls, and accounting compliance frameworks
  • Lead technical accounting matters, including acquisitions and lease accounting
  • Support group budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Oversee treasury operations including cash flow management, banking relationships, and covenant compliance
  • Manage tax compliance processes including income tax, BAS and FBT in collaboration with external advisors
  • Support ESG reporting with a focus on data integrity and audit readiness
  • Drive finance systems improvements and enhance data quality across the function
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives and strategic finance projects
  • Mentor and develop team members while supporting a collaborative and high-performing finance function
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, corporate accounting or finance leadership roles
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including exposure to complex group structures
  • Experience managing audits, treasury functions, and tax compliance
  • Exposure to ASX reporting and corporate governance is highly regarded
  • Strong systems capability, with experience in ERP systems and reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel
  • Ability to prepare board-level reporting and communicate financial insights clearly
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at a senior level
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and complex environment
