As the business enters its next phase of development, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Assets & Operations to join the senior leadership team and drive performance across its asset portfolio, operational functions and strategic initiatives.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a broad executive leadership position spanning asset management, business operations, capital projects, technology-enabled transformation and continuous improvement. Leading multiple functional teams, you will take ownership of operational performance, asset reliability, commercial outcomes and the delivery of key business initiatives.
A significant focus of the role will be leading complex systems and technology projects, improving how information, processes and operational platforms integrate across the business. You will play a hands-on role in project planning, system design, implementation and change management, ensuring technology investments deliver measurable operational and commercial benefits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop teams across asset management, operations and design.
- Drive complex technology projects, systems implementation and business transformation.
- Oversee systems architecture, integrations, data flows and technology improvements.
- Manage asset lifecycles, infrastructure upgrades, maintenance and capital works.
- Improve operational performance, service delivery, efficiency and cost control.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategy, commercial decisions and growth.
- Oversee budgets, supplier relationships, contracts and commercial performance.
- Strengthen governance, WHSEQ compliance, risk management and operational accountability.
- Significant senior leadership experience across operations, asset management or infrastructure.
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and improving business performance.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, cost management and strategic planning.
- Experience overseeing capital projects, asset lifecycle management and operational risk.
- Demonstrated capability delivering systems improvements, process optimisation and organisational change.
- Sound knowledge of WHSEQ requirements, governance and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and executive reporting skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused leadership style with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
