About the role:
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded and hands-on finance leader to join a founder led business with real momentum. As Head of Finance, you’ll own the finance function end to end from reporting and governance to margin analysis, strategy, and capital efficiency.
You’ll work closely with the founders to build scalable systems, enable confident decision making, and ensure the business is well-positioned for continued growth. The role offers a high level of ownership and visibility, with the ability to shape financial processes and drive lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cashflow forecasting, working capital management, and cost optimisation
- Build and maintain robust financial models, budgets, and rolling forecasts
- Deliver insightful reporting to founders, leadership, board, and investors
- Oversee financial compliance including tax, payroll, superannuation, and BAS
- Drive automation and continuous improvement across systems and reporting
- Support commercial decision-making with margin, CAC, and CLTV analysis
- Partner with operations, marketing, and procurement to improve efficiency
- Evaluate strategic initiatives such as new categories, partnerships, or M&A
- Contribute to capital raising, investor communications, and risk management
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team while fostering collaboration
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within FMCG, e-commerce, logistics, or subscription-based businesses
- Strong commercial acumen with deep experience in financial planning, modelling, and analysis
- Hands-on operator with the ability to build and lead systems, processes, and teams
- Skilled in interpreting operational data and translating it into strategy
- Familiarity with capital raising, investor reporting, and governance preferred
- A proactive, improvement-oriented mindset with strong business partnering skills
