Role Summary
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Finance will lead the finance function and play a key role in supporting the commercial and operational performance of the business.
This is a broad leadership opportunity that combines financial stewardship with genuine commercial involvement across manufacturing, supply chain and business operations. Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, you will drive financial reporting, planning, governance and performance while helping build the systems, processes and commercial capability required to support the next phase of growth.
The role will suit an ambitious finance professional looking to step into a broader leadership position where they can influence strategic decision-making while remaining hands-on within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management activities
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to support commercial and strategic decision-making
- Improve financial reporting, business insights and performance analysis
- Support manufacturing, inventory and supply chain performance through meaningful commercial reporting
- Strengthen governance, compliance and financial control frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and business processes
- Support strategic growth initiatives and future value creation opportunities
- Develop relationships with the Board, external advisors and key stakeholders
- CA or CPA qualified
- First or second move from a Big 4 or mid-tier Chartered Accounting firm will be highly regarded
- Alternatively, experience within a commercial finance role supporting a manufacturing or product-based business
- Exposure to manufacturing, pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG or other regulated industries will be highly regarded
- Strong financial reporting, forecasting and analytical capability
- Commercially minded with the ability to partner closely with operational stakeholders
- Experience within a private equity-backed business or exposure to transactions, due diligence or corporate finance activities will be highly regarded
- Hands-on, collaborative and eager to grow into a broader executive leadership role
- Broad Head of Finance role reporting directly to the CEO
