We are seeking experienced individuals including;

to join our client's Occupational Health team, delivering high-quality pre-employment medical assessments and occupational health screening services.

This is a regional position located in Karratha WA

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a background in primary health care, occupational health who enjoys a fast-paced environment, working with a wide range of patients and corporate clients.

You will play a key role in ensuring pre-employment medicals are completed accurately, efficiently and to a high standard, while creating a positive experience for patients throughout the assessment process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct a range of occupational health and pre-employment assessments including:
    • Drug and urine screening
    • Spirometry
    • ECGs
    • Audiometry
    • Functional assessments
  • Complete health assessments and examinations in line with company processes and client requirements
  • Follow up GP letters and medical information requests where required
  • Review assessment documentation for quality and completeness prior to upload
  • Maintain accurate, compliant and confidential patient records
  • Prepare, clean and sterilise equipment and ensure clinic rooms are fully stocked
  • Support clinic administration and complete relevant weekly and monthly checklists
  • Build strong relationships with patients, medical practitioners, clinic staff and corporate clients
  • Ensure appointments are completed within allocated timeframes while maintaining excellent patient care
ABOUT YOU
  • Minimum 4 years post-registration experience
  • Current AHPRA registration 
  • Previous experience in occupational health, primary health care, general practice or clinic nursing
  • Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
  • A professional, warm and patient-focused approach
