We are seeking an exceptional healthcare professional to join our client’s Occupational Health team in Karratha, WA.

You will deliver high-quality pre-employment medical assessments and occupational health screening services to patients and corporate clients across a range of industries.

  • Exercise Scientists
  • Exercise Physiologists
  • Registered Nurses with at least four years’ experience
  • Enrolled Nurses with at least four years’ experience
  • Physiotherapists
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in primary healthcare, occupational health, general practice or clinical assessments who enjoys working in a busy and varied environment.

THE ROLE

You will play a key role in ensuring pre-employment medicals are completed accurately, efficiently and to a high standard while creating a positive experience for every patient.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Completing health assessments and examinations in line with company processes and client requirements
  • Conducting drug and alcohol screening, including urine testing
  • Performing spirometry, ECGs and audiometry
  • Conducting functional assessments
  • Reviewing assessment documentation for quality and completeness before upload
  • Maintaining accurate, compliant and confidential patient records
  • Preparing, cleaning and sterilising equipment
  • Ensuring clinic rooms are appropriately stocked
  • Supporting clinic administration and completing weekly and monthly checklists
  • Building strong relationships with patients, medical practitioners, clinic colleagues and corporate clients
ABOUT YOU

To be successful, you will have:
  • Current AHPRA registration or relevant professional accreditation
  • At least four years’ experience if applying as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
  • Previous experience in occupational health, primary healthcare, general practice or a clinical assessment environment
  • Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and effective time-management skills
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
Experience conducting pre-employment medicals or occupational health screenings will be highly regarded; however, full training and support will be provided.
