ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Finance Manager and CFO, you’ll support a range of core finance functions including reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, debtor management, and process improvements, playing a hands-on role in the smooth running of the organisations financial operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process all invoice requests
- Manage debtors, follow up outstanding payments, and process gateway transactions
- Prepare and deposit banking documentation for all transactions
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts
- Review and dispatch monthly debtor statements
- Prepare end-of-month entries in MYOB Acumatica
- Continuously review accounts processes to ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and best practice
- Support the Accounts Payable function to ensure accuracy of purchase orders, supplier invoices, expense claims, and credit card transactions
- Provide support to the Finance Manager to ensure timely and accurate completion of finance and accounting tasks
- Assist with other ad hoc finance duties as required
- Degree qualified in accounting and finance
- Working towards CA or CPA highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
- Experience with MYOB Acumatica and CRM systems such as Octozy is highly regarded
- Strong reconciliation and accounts management skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting standards and best practice in financial processes
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
