ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the CEO, they are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven
Manager - Commercial & Events to join the leadership team.
This pivotal role will lead partnerships, commercial strategy, and events while overseeing marketing and communications activity. Remuneration 90-100k ex super
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing, servicing and growing corporate and community partnerships
- Driving new commercial opportunities to grow league revenue
- Overseeing delivery of key league events (Season Launch, Club Conference, B2B Breakfast, Presentation Night, etc.)
- Leading marketing & communications, ensuring effective partner activations and engaging digital content
- Building strong relationships with clubs, stakeholders, partners and suppliers
- Representing the league at events, forums and community initiatives
We are looking for an energetic leader with proven commercial acumen and strong stakeholder management skills. You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (business, marketing, sport management) is desirable
- Demonstrated success in revenue generation, sponsorship, and partnership management
- Strong event management and people leadership experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities
- A passion for sport, ideally with an understanding of community or junior football
