ABOUT THE ROLE
Leading a distributed QA team, you’ll be responsible for driving quality outcomes, strengthening automation capability, and building the structure required to support the next phase of growth. As the business continues to invest heavily in its products and engineering capability, you’ll play a key role in shaping how quality is delivered across the organisation.
Whilst this is a leadership role, you’ll also remain close to the technology and delivery. Working closely with Engineering and Product teams, you’ll help embed quality throughout the SDLC and influence how testing, automation, and quality practices evolve across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor a distributed QA team
- Drive quality standards and testing practices across the organisation
- Build and enhance automation frameworks and API testing capability
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to shape requirements and estimate testing effort
- Provide hands-on automation and technical testing support when required
- Improve QA processes, governance, and team structure
- Recruit and grow the QA capability as the business scales
- Previous experience as a QA Lead or QA Manager
- Strong hands-on automation testing capability
- Experience working within product-led environments
- Exposure to fintech, banking or broader financial services environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable balancing leadership with hands-on delivery
