ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving sales growth, leading a small team, and developing new business opportunities across the residential, commercial, and architectural sectors. The Sales Manager will work closely with the General Manager and Managing Director to oversee key accounts, manage complex project-based sales, and implement effective sales processes and CRM practices. This is an opportunity to shape the future direction of a high-quality Australian-made product suite with strong market presence and global expansion plans.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the sales function including team management, pipeline oversight, and performance reporting
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new builder, architect, and developer clients
- Manage project-based sales from initial consultation through to quoting and delivery coordination
- Maintain and grow key client relationships across residential and commercial sectors
- Implement CRM (Pipedrive) usage and mentor a high-performing sales team
- Proven sales leadership experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based environments
- Strong understanding of the builder/architect ecosystem and long sales cycles
- Ability to manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation to close
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and managing technical client expectations
- Confident, self-motivated leader with experience using CRMs like Pipedrive
