About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, people-focused Sales Manager to lead our Course & Careers Advisors and drive the success of our student engagement and sales function.

In this pivotal role, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of the Sales Team while contributing as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team to deliver on the department’s and business’s strategic objectives. You’ll inspire performance, implement best-practice processes, and create a culture of growth, integrity, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities People & Performance

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Course & Careers Advisors to achieve individual and team KPIs.
  • Deliver a structured onboarding program for new hires and ongoing professional development.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one Sprint Sessions for performance and feedback.
  • Review calls and provide coaching to maintain quality and customer service excellence.
Operational Leadership
  • Stay across industry developments to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to maximise team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the student experience across the lifecycle.
  • Allocate leads fairly and equitably across the team.
  • Ensure adherence to AQF, NVR, and WHS compliance standards.
  • Work closely with Marketing to optimise lead generation strategies.
Planning & Reporting
  • Develop and deliver the annual strategic plan in collaboration with the CEO and business leaders.
  • Monitor team performance against strategic goals and KPIs; identify and action improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and scorecards to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Continuously analyse data to drive performance outcomes and inform decision-making.
About You

You’re a confident and strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You balance commercial acumen with empathy — empowering your team to perform at their best while maintaining a strong focus on quality and compliance.

You’ll bring:
  • 5+ years of proven success in an incentive-driven sales or customer service call centre.
  • Demonstrated success achieving sales targets.
  • Experience leading diverse and remote teams, fostering engagement and resolving conflict effectively.
  • Experience in the Education sector (highly desirable).
  • Strong analytical mindset and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional reports.
  • Strong organisational and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and remotely when required.
