ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded and hands-on finance professional to join a founder-led business with real momentum. As Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll take ownership of financial planning, performance reporting, margin analysis, and commercial support working closely with operations, marketing, and the leadership team to influence key decisions and drive outcomes.
You’ll be central to enabling confident, data driven decisions while helping improve financial visibility and discipline across the business. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced, high growth environment and enjoys making a tangible impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead cashflow forecasting, working capital management, and cost optimisation
- Build and maintain robust financial models, budgets, and rolling forecasts
- Deliver insightful reporting to founders, leadership, and investors
- Oversee financial compliance including tax, payroll, superannuation, and BAS
- Drive automation and continuous improvement across systems and reporting
- Support commercial decision making with margin, CAC, and CLTV analysis
- Partner with operations, marketing, and procurement to improve efficiency
- Evaluate strategic initiatives such as new categories, partnerships, or M&A
- Support investor reporting, capital planning, and risk management activity
- Help foster cross-functional collaboration and financial accountability
- Proven experience in a senior commercial finance or FP&A role within FMCG, e-commerce, logistics, or subscription-based businesses
- Strong financial modelling, planning, and analysis capability
- Hands on operator with a keen eye for detail and commercial insight
- Skilled in interpreting operational data and turning it into strategic recommendations
- Familiarity with capital planning, investor communications, or start-up governance a plus
- A proactive, improvement-oriented mindset with strong business partnering skills
