ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a senior, visible role for a people leader ready to influence HR strategy, uplift culture, and partner closely with executive and operational leaders to support business success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the full employee lifecycle—recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Provide strategic and operational HR advice to leaders on employee relations, policies, and compliance
- Lead culture and engagement initiatives, including wellbeing and DE&I programs
- Champion best-practice HR operations and continuously improve processes
- Partner with managers on retention, development, and workforce planning strategies
- 7+ years of HR business partnering or generalist experience
- Prior experience supporting automotive or commission-based workforces (e.g., retail sales, real estate, recruitment)
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and modern awards
- HRIS proficiency and a data-informed approach to decision making
- Strategic mindset with the ability to flex between hands-on and high-level work
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
