Our client is a well-established organisation currently executing a high-volume acquisition program as part of a broader growth strategy. They are seeking a Senior Analyst to join on a 4 month contract, supporting multiple live transactions within a fast-paced deals environment.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, this role will focus on M&A activity across financial modelling and due diligence. It is a hands-on position suited to someone comfortable operating across multiple workstreams, contributing to key investment decisions, and managing tight timelines. The role is purely focused on pre-acquisition activity, with no post-deal integration required.
Responsibilities
- Build and refine detailed financial models to support acquisition decisions
- Analyse financial and commercial performance of target businesses
- Support due diligence processes, including coordination with advisors and internal teams
- Assist in evaluating investment opportunities through scenario analysis and risk assessment
- Prepare clear and concise materials for senior stakeholders and investment discussions
- Manage multiple concurrent transactions and prioritise effectively
- Experience in M&A, corporate finance, deals advisory, or transaction services
- Strong financial modelling capability with high attention to detail
- Exposure to due diligence processes across acquisitions
- Ability to work across multiple deals in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills and strong commercial judgement
