About the role
The Site Manager is accountable for leading and overseeing all day-to-day operations at the Sydney site, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant running of all functions. This role will be responsible for receiving, storage, distribution, and quality assurance, while fostering a high-performance culture across the team. It requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily site operations, ensuring compliance with food safety, OHS, and environmental standards
- Recruit, roster, train, and develop warehouse staff to build a high-performing team
- Oversee inbound, outbound, and inventory management, maintaining stock accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement across picking, packing, dispatch, and site processes
- Manage facilities, vendor contracts, and site maintenance requirements
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams on operational matters
Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience in site or warehouse management with strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of food safety, OHS, and compliance standards
- Strong inventory management and stock control experience
- Ability to problem-solve, prioritise, and implement improvements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
