ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a major player in the retail and marketing space, working at the intersection of commerce, data and technology. They’re building future-ready capabilities that connect customer data, media platforms and campaign orchestration tools. With ambitious plans to scale and evolve their architecture, they’re seeking a contract Architect to lead the charge on cutting-edge, modular integrations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design of scalable, API-driven solution architecture across internal and external platforms;
- Build seamless integrations across ad tech systems (DSPs, SSPs, Clean Rooms), CDPs, CRMs, and campaign orchestration tools;
- Develop architecture patterns for real-time data exchange, event-driven workflows, and secure data sharing;
- Define and implement strategies for identity resolution, consent management, and closed-loop attribution;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data, product, engineering, vendors) to translate architecture into deliverables;
- Work directly with vendors (e.g., The Trade Desk, Zitcha, Snowflake, LiveRamp) to deliver interoperability;
- Design pipelines for ingestion, enrichment, and activation of retail data
- Support architecture backlog prioritisation and contribute to agile ceremonies like retros and grooming.
- 8+ years in solution architecture across retail media, adtech, or martech;
- Deep experience in API design (REST/GraphQL), event streaming (Kafka/Kinesis), and cloud-native environments (AWS preferred)
- Strong hands-on background in integrating platforms such as CDPs (e.g., Tealium), campaign tools (e.g., Braze, Salesforce), and attribution systems;
- Knowledge of data onboarding, identity platforms (e.g., LiveRamp, InfoSum), and clean room technologies;
- Solid grasp of data modelling, secure data transfer, and privacy frameworks (APP, GDPR/CCPA);
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and containerisation (Docker);
- Excellent communication skills – able to bridge the gap between business and tech;
- Proficient in documenting architecture using tools like Miro, PowerPoint and Word;
- Experience in Agile environments (JIRA, Confluence).
