ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced State Sales Manager to lead and drive the Victorian sales function. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, with responsibility for managing and mentoring a team of field-based sales professionals across both metro and regional areas.

As the face of the Victorian sales strategy, you’ll develop business plans, grow key accounts, and guide your team to consistently meet and exceed targets. You’ll also work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of digital and physical education resources, backed by best-in-class service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Victorian sales team to deliver on strategic goals
  • Build and execute sales strategies that grow market presence and revenue
  • Nurture strong relationships with existing clients and identify new opportunities
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and performance reporting to senior leadership
  • Stay across industry trends and customer needs to inform strategy
  • Champion the delivery of innovative digital solutions across the customer base
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure exceptional client outcomes
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • At least 5 years in sales leadership roles, ideally within education, technology, or retail.
  • A proven ability to lead high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive, customer-first mindset and passion for making a positive impact.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and data-led decision making.
