With a strong platform already in place, they are now looking to appoint a commercially driven State Sales Manager to take ownership of a key territory and accelerate growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a true business development role for a sales professional who enjoys building a territory, opening doors and converting opportunities. You will take full ownership of South Australia and Western Victoria, driving new business, growing existing accounts and executing a clear sales strategy aligned to revenue and margin targets.
With strong internal support and an established product offering, your focus will be on winning work, building relationships and delivering commercial outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to drive revenue and margin growth
- Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across key markets
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Conduct client meetings, site visits and proposal presentations
- Manage pricing, negotiations and commercial outcomes
- Maintain a strong pipeline with consistent BD activity and follow-up
- Provide accurate sales reporting, forecasting and market insights
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Proven success in a BD-focused B2B sales role
- Strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Natural relationship builder with a proactive, “on-the-road” mindset
- Ability to open doors and convert opportunities into revenue
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with disciplined pipeline management
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
- Willingness to travel across the territory
