ABOUT THE ROLE
As Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain function across Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for driving supply chain strategies, optimising inventory and forecasting processes, managing supplier relationships, and leading a cross-functional team. This is a high-impact role suited to a strategic thinker who also thrives in hands-on operations and is passionate about building high-performing teams and systems. Reporting into the leadership team, you'll collaborate across departments to ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and excellent service delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
- Build and manage long-term relationships with local and offshore suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure supplier performance meets SLAs.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure product availability while minimising excess stock.
- Analyse data to drive informed, commercial decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams in sales, finance, and logistics.
- Implement and improve supply chain tools and systems to enhance automation and forecasting.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and manage risks related to supply disruptions.
- Lead and mentor a team including demand planners, shipping clerks, and a supply chain coordinator.
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience leading supply chain functions in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment.
- Strong capability in supplier negotiation and performance management.
- Deep understanding of inventory control, forecasting, and logistics operations.
- Analytical thinker with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Confident leading teams and collaborating across departments.
- Experience with ERP systems, with proficiency in Business Central highly desirable.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
